How do you measure change in a classroom? A school would remain largely unchanged. The faces stay the same. There might be a small new poster in a hallway, or 20 new minutes in a week spent checking in with one another. Small changes like that are felt. In a year of Nudge Club—a lot of feelings, and a whole lot of change.
Nudge Club started as a question posed at an Ideathon hosted by ASWATNA, a program by en.v to empower students to create social change within their schools.
In December 2022, over the course of three intensive days, a diverse group of students, educators, creatives, technologists, and civil society representatives came together to brainstorm and design initiatives aimed at promoting responsive, safe, and inclusive schools in Kuwait. One such initiative was Nudge Club. That’s us.
Our strategies involve deep research, design sessions, trials, and iteration. It’s important that our work comes from a place of embodied knowledge, understanding, and an acute awareness of how change at school can really happen. We have a host of frameworks, sessions, and activities that may be adopted and implemented by anyone and at any school to create the positive impact that we strive for.
Our work is made possible by experiment, design, and lots of research. Here are some of our go-to resources for catalyzing transformation in schools and the culture of education.
Adults too need spaces to express, explore, and work through the overwhelming demands of their jobs—demands they often rationalize as ‘just part of the job,’ when in reality, they aren’t.
We recognize that school faculty are overtasked with work as is. While the Nudge Club model is starting point for employing change within the school environment, it is comprehensive—ultimately requiring the very commitment that a strained work environment is in need of. We offer various subscription models that delegate our experienced team of facilitators and program managers to bring Nudge Club to your school in the capacity of your choice.
